Narendra Modi Stadium: The Jewel in the Crown

Already famous as the largest cricket stadium in the world, the Narendra Modi Stadium will serve as the centerpiece for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. With a seating capacity of 132,000, the atmosphere will be electric.

The New Multisport Complex

Surrounding the main stadium, a network of new, dedicated arenas is rising.

1. The Aquatics Center

A futuristic, eco-friendly center featuring an Olympic-sized competition pool, a diving pool, and a warm-up pool. The design mimics the flow of the Sabarmati river.

2. The Athletic Stadium

A dedicated track and field arena designed for speed records. The open-air design takes advantage of natural ventilation to keep athletes cool.

3. The Indoor Arena

A multi-purpose indoor hall that will host Badminton, Table Tennis, and Wrestling. Its modular design allows for rapid reconfiguration between events.

• Solar Power: Rooftop solar panels generate significant energy for stadium operations.
• Rainwater Harvesting: Advanced systems to capture and reuse water for pitch maintenance.

Getting There

The entire enclave is interconnected by a dedicated Sports Loop—a pedestrian and cyclist-friendly zone that links to the Motera Stadium Metro Station. Fans can travel from the airport to their seats in under 30 minutes.
